Dew Alloa Fairisle Merino Wool Scarf

TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH FAIR ISLE | 100% MERINO LAMBSWOOL | SIZE: 25cm x 172cm

£72.00

We adore the kaleidoscopic puzzle of the Fair Isle patterns in these not-too-bulky but winter-warm scarves. This Dew colourway blends delicious denim blues, with oatmeal, rusty browns and soft pinks. A long, soft scarf with ribbed edges, and a slightly ‘sculpted’ feel. The wool has been lightly milled after knitting, so the natural fibres ‘bloom’ slightly, to create a thick, fleecy windproof scarf that feels like a hug around your neck and shoulders, even in the coldest of weathers.

  • 100% Merino Lambswool
  • Made in Scotland in a solar-powered factory
  • Matching earth-friendly gloves available
  • Beautifully-soft, warm & fluffy, yet lightweight
  • Size: 25cm x 172cm

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Because wool is naturally self-cleaning & odour-resistant, this item needs minimal washing compared to synthetic fibres. Often, a simple shake and a fresh airing outdoors on a breezy day is all it needs for a refresh. Always give this a go before deciding to wash. With the right care, it can last for years to come!
  • Routine Care: Regularly shake out to remove any dust. To spot clean small marks, gently dab small marks immediately with a clean, damp cloth and a mild soap. Do not scrub.
  • Washing: Hand washing is recommended over dry cleaning. Use a PH-neutral liquid hand soap, or specialised wool wash, not regular detergent. Gently squeeze, no rubbing! Rinse in warm water (add a drop or two of almond oil for fragrance & wool restoration, if you wish).
  • Drying: Roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape gently & dry flat on a clean towel, away from direct heat or harsh sunlight.
  • Things to avoid: Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not wring. Do not iron. Do not bleach.
