This fun and practical kids’ hat combines traditional hand-knit techniques with a playful animal design. The pure wool outer layer provides exceptional natural insulation to trap warmth, while the inside is fully lined with an ultra-soft, non-itch thermal fleece band, guaranteeing absolute comfort against sensitive young skin, and a secure fit, even when they’re at their most active!

Flat width: approx 20-21 cm wide
Fits head circumference of 48cm ~ 52cm, with a comfortable, natural stretch

These Pachamama hats have a soft but secure hold that keeps them comfortably in place, without slipping down over the eyes. As we know, young heads grow quickly, but because pure wool has both natural give and inherent memory, and the fleece lining band has some built-in stretch, this Pachamama hat will relax gently, and grow alongside your little one.

Toddler & Early Years Fit (Ages 3 ~ 5) | Fits beautifully with a relaxed but secure hold, and coverage over the ears and the back of the neck
Primary School Fit (Ages 6 ~ 8) | Stretches out naturally, without being too tight.
Artisanal variance: Because every piece is genuinely hand-made by real human knitters, please allow for fractional size variations from hat to hat

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Pachamama's children's hats often have embroidered or felted hand-finished details, and complex stitching. While the core wool outer could technically withstand a cold machine wool cycle, the mechanical friction of a spinning drum can fray or damage those delicate areas. If you really need to wash your hat in the machine, do so on a cold temp wool cycle, first securing it in a cotton pillowcase or mesh laundry bag.

Washing & drying: Hand-wash recommended, in cold water. Dry flat.
Spills & spots: Blot immediate liquid spills gently with a dry cloth. Never rub or scrub the outer wool fibres, as this can cause the wool to felt.
Things to avoid: Do not tumble dry.
