Many of Florence’s sketches and paintings often have lines ‘running off the page’ and areas of imperfect uniformity such as a set of circles or a repetition of lines. This particular design composition and repetition of various woven structures reflects this.
Blocks and solid lines comprised of bold primary and secondary colour variations give this fine wool scarf its dramatic effect.
