DESCRIPTION
With all over patterning, this scarf is woven with just four main colours and various weaves to create a patchwork of textures.
A comforting warp palette created through this mix of gold and seaweed, give a tangible sense of a sunny countryside setting, with pops of warm reds and pink hues lit in the detailed border reminiscent of wildflower.
Inspired by Holly’s scarf, one of our website angels. See what Wallace Sewell say about themselves below.
“Strong and proud champions of British design and manufacturing, Wallace Sewell has always had a thoughtful and meticulous approach to production. New ideas are created on handlooms at their studios in London and Dorset which are then woven industrially at a family-run UK textile mill in Lancashire – the perfect fusion of modern design and traditional technique.”
A cheerful mix of bubblegum pink, lavender, and citrus tones, harmoniously complemented by the comforting warmth of fawn and sienna.
The Maela design draws directly from the perspectives within Fred Ingrams’ landscapes. The elongated triangle structures on the scarves nod to his distinctive visual elements, while substantial solid blocks of colour and textured patterns pay homage to the patchwork fields that serve as a focal point in Ingrams’ body of work.
