CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Routine Care & Managing Pilling: Shake regularly to remove dust and debris. To spot clean small marks, use a damp cloth and gently dab the area. Pilling can occur when the natural wool fibres undergo everyday friction. Gently run a wool shaver or metal fabric comb across the surface of your throw to safely restore its smooth finish.
- Washing: Even though McNutt do recommend dry cleaning, they also explicitly advise that their throws can be machine washed on a dedicated cold temperature wool cycle (maximum 30°C), with a gentle, slow spin, using a mild wool detergent. You can find a very helpful instructional video on their website here.
- Drying: Reshape immediately after washing and dry flat away from direct heat sources.Â
- Things to avoid: Do not wring your throw or shake whilst wet. Do not tumble dry. Do not hand wash. Do not iron.
