- Material composition: Outer: 100% Merino Lambswool | Backing: Polyester Tricot
These covers are made from a specialised fabric/production method called Wolborg. Instead of keeping the wool attached to the leather hide, the premium shorn wool is machine-knitted into a fine tricot jersey backing, giving the fluffy wool fibres structural integrity, but retaining all of their natural moisture-regulating and warming properties.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wool’s naturally dirt-resistant properties means your cover requires minimal washing. Often, a simple spot clean and an outdoor airing is all that’s needed.
- Washing: If a full clean is needed, remove the inner bottle and pop the cover in the machine on a cold wool cycle with a short spin. Or, wash by hand in cold water, ideally using a wool detergent. The bottle can be sponge-cleaned.
- Drying: Do not wring, twist, or scrub the wet felt. Press flat between a clean towel to remove excess moisture, reshape gently, and dry completely flat away from direct heat & sun.
- Things to avoid: Do not iron. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.
- Safety: Always use water just below boiling point to fill your bottle. Fill to a maximum of two-thirds capacity, gently expelling excess air before tightening the stopper. Always keep the bottle out of the reach of babies and young children.
