Inspired by the Scottish Landscape these beautiful products By Louise Wedderburn are a breath of Scottish fresh air. Made from soft merino wool she weaves all she sees into these earthy coloured designs that are also soft and cosy to wear. Each scarf has other accessories that go with them in each colour story.

- The Material: Knitted using premium 100% British lambswool. Louise selects specific soft-fleece cuts to ensure a non-scratchy, comfortable drape. [1, 2]
- The Design & Aesthetic: These are generous, long scarves intentionally designed with a blended melange effect. Instead of hard lines or blocks, the yarn colours subtly bleed together to mimic natural light and gradients. [1, 2]
- The Inspiration: The colour stories are directly inspired by the shifting hues of the Scottish landscape. Her core collections are divided into distinct colour palettes:
- The Build: Hand-guided and machine-knitted directly by Louise using traditional Scottish knitwear methods in her Fife farm studio. Because they are individually crafted, the manufacturer explicitly notes that slight size variations are a natural characteristic of the knitting process. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Sizing Structure: Louise designs these specifically as “generous scarves”. They are knitted to a longer, wider specification than her tighter Fair Isle snoods, allowing them to be comfortably bundled or loosely knotted. Louise mentions that due to the specialized hand-frame machine knitting process, these scarves hold a unique semi-circular or curved drape shape rather than being a rigid rectangle
